Instrumentation

Railway
System
System specialized for railway.
(1) Vehicle for photographing wall in a tunnel (Tunnelas
=Tunnel Lining Inspection System)
This system is to photograph the inner wall of a tunnel
for railway and find abnormality (crack or separation).
Photographing equipment is installed on a vehicle that
runs on a road, then moves on to the track near the tunnel,
and runs with iron wheels. Images photographed are processed
into a development elevation for abnormality by the ground
system.
(2) Brake wear inspection system
This system photographs the brake equipment of a train
while the train is running and automatically measures
the wear amount of the brake through image processing.
(3) Wheel surface inspection system
This system photographs the wheels of a train while the
train is running by means of laser beams and inspects
worn conditions of the wheels through image processing.
